Mini Grants

Mini grant applications accepted through August 24, 2018 at United Way of Northeast Michigan

Qualifying nonprofits could receive up to $1,000

The United Way of Northeast Michigan is currently accepting applications for its bi-annual mini grants. The mini grants give the United Way the flexibility to meet community needs that may arise between the annual allocation-cycle. The intent of these monies is to fund programs that seek to meet high priority needs of the community.  Funds may be earmarked for 1) community needs or innovative programs and/or 2) new approaches to previously-identified needs; and/or 3)  an agency or community emergency. Amounts available per request can be up to, but no more than $1,000. Applications must be submitted by 4 p.m. on Friday, August 24.  Funding will be provided for specific programs, not overall operations.
