Great Lakes Leadership Society

Great Lakes  Leadership Society

Leadership Giving represents a level of community participation by those who have a deep commitment to the community and a desire to do more.

The exceptional quality of life that we are privileged to enjoy in Northeast Michigan is a reflection of the people who live here. We are fortunate to be the home of many individuals, businesses, companies and corporations who are committed to the development of our community and take an active part in making our community a better place to live, work and raise families.

The Leadership Society is an exclusive United Way giving society for those who make a gift of at least $500 in a fiscal year to United Way. You will join a dynamic group of people, focused on tackling the community’s most pressing issues. Members also gain opportunities to network and grow as leaders.

Leadership Society members enjoy:

  •     Invitations to special United Way events.
  •     Opportunities to participate in organized agency and volunteer events throughout the year.
  •     Frequent updates and communications from United Way, including the Unite newsletter, featuring highlights from United Way’s impact work and donor events.

*Fiscal year runs January 1 - December 31.

For more information about joining a United Way Giving Society that’s right for you, please email us at or call (989) 354-2221.
